Porcelain Throne

Five chemo treatments back to back has proven to be too much for my body. It is very weak, exhausted and angry with me. Very angry, Having a hard time keeping any food down. White and red blood cell counts are down making me exhausted. Nausea is up, making food intake very difficult. Of all weeks, I haven’t had vitamin C treatments because we are battling with insurance. Bad, bad timing.

Had some dear friends and family sitting with me while Tom was at his first golf meet for this season. And so it is. We press on one moment at a time, whether it’s resting, battling insurance, trying to get and keep food or liquids down, or bowing at the porcelain throne. We press on and give thanks for all the blessings we do have. Give thanks for the toxins leaving my body, in a pleasant manner or not. Give thanks the support of others helping carry me through this. Give thanks for another day of His steadfast, unconditional love.
