1/22 It’s definitely Monday; I keep forgetting to take my friend, Ivy (aka IV pole) with me whenever I get up to go somewhere. That could be bad. But so far, so good.
We watched a movie on emotions. Did you know that word literally means “energy in motion”? And the vast majority of people with any “disease” (dis-ease) have an emotional component to it. I don’t know all the science behind it. But there is a ton of science behind it, for centuries. Maybe some day I’ll learn more about it. But not today.
Had some more fabulous conversations with the ladies in my IV room. Love them so much! I am SO blessed. I don't have time to go into detail about all we talked about, but when I checked my email tonight this article basically summed up the gifts of cancer we discussed.
Thankful they keep a close eye on my blood work. I had to get an extra shot today because my white blood cell count is too low. Chemo will do that to a person. And mine isn’t even full blown chemo! Yikes! But it didn’t even hurt a bit. Go Monica! So...now I get to wear a mask in public.

Thankful for friends and family that gifted me with a new 100% undyed, natural cotton poncho (from Guatemala) and real fingerless gloves instead of my make-shift socks. They bring me joy. Thank you!

Thankful for my hubby filling my water bottles again and again and again. Gotta love my Water Boy.
Today has been a quiet, peaceful day of healing here across the board. I even had a special guest come, a representative from the establishment that didn’t work to well with me on Friday. The rep was a nice guy. We will see what he gets accomplished. ;-)
